Canary Islands' Employment Service (SCE) Launches New Internships Program
Overview
The Canary Islands' Employment Service (SCE) has officially published a new agreement with Amura Neurocomputing & Artificial Intelligence Solutions, S.L., to facilitate non-labor internships for young people through the Practícate initiative.
Starting from May 7, 2025, this program aims to help unemployed youths aged 18 to 25 (extendable up to 29 for those enrolled in the Youth Guarantee System) gain real-world experience in relevant fields, despite having little or no prior work experience.
Program Details
- Participants will undertake six-month internships in local companies.
- Interns will receive a monthly stipend of at least €720, paid directly by the company.
- A subsidy from the SCE will cover 80% of the internship costs.
- Companies are responsible for social security contributions.
