Canary Islands Government Announces New Employment List for Interim Staff
Purpose of the New Employment List
- To ensure the effective delivery of employment, training, and labor services
- Support social cohesion and economic development in the archipelago
- Facilitate the swift filling of vacancies, substitutions, and urgent staffing needs
- Focus on positions involving labor market guidance, employment mediation, and active employment policies
Selection Process
- Based on a merit concurso
- Scores are assigned for experience, education, and additional merits
- Maximum of 10 points
- Candidates must meet specific requirements, including academic qualifications and experience
- At least 2 points needed to qualify
- 5% of available positions reserved for candidates with disabilities (minimum 33% disability recognition)
Application and Legal Process
- Submission of electronic applications
- Auto-qualification of merits
- Strict adherence to legal rules to promote transparency and fairness
Validity and Implementation
- The list has indefinite validity
- May be terminated early based on organizational needs
