Canary Islands Employment Service (SCE) Ends Management Support Contract with ITC

• The Canary Islands Employment Service (SCE) has decided to end its management support contract with the public institute ITC for the Center of Orientation, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation at the end of 2026.
• Previously, ITC was responsible for managing key employment services under a contract set to run until December 2026, with automatic extensions until 2028.

• Recent staffing changes mean the SCE now has enough internal personnel—158 new civil servants from the Employment Technical Scale—to fully assume these responsibilities.
