The Canary Islands government has announced a new round of grants aimed at boosting local innovation and entrepreneurship. For 2026, they will allocate nearly 1.83 million euros to fund participation in the Canary Islands Network of Business Innovation and Development Centers (Red CIDE). These funds are part of the regional development program cofinanced by the European FEDER funds, specifically aimed at fostering collaboration among local and regional organizations, foundations, and businesses connected to Canary Islands authorities.

Funding Details
- Funds will cover direct personnel costs (up to 3,400 euros per person per month) and other eligible expenses.
- A fixed funding rate of 40% will be applied to personnel costs.

- Applications must be submitted within 15 working days from the official publication date.
- Submission should be made through the regional government’s online portal.
Project Timeline
- Projects can start between January and October 2026.
- Maximum project duration is 12 months.
