University of La Laguna Launches Competition for Final Degree Projects (TFGs)

The University of La Laguna has launched a new competition to reward outstanding final degree projects (TFGs) that explore the economic and fiscal policies of the Canary Islands. Open to all students who defended their TFGs by the 2024-2025 academic year, the awards aim to foster research that deepens understanding of the region's unique economic framework, driving social and economic development.

Prize Details

  • Three cash prizes will be awarded, totaling 6,000 euros.
  • Prize amounts range from 1,000 to 3,000 euros.
  • The top projects will be judged based on their:
    • relevance
    • quality
    • alignment with principles of the Canary Islands' economic regulation.

Application Process

  • Students interested in participating must submit their applications online by July 31, 2025.
  • The process includes:
    • providing personal data
    • project details
    • official academic records demonstrating a minimum grade of 8.0.
